The Beachlands Development was a 45-hectare land sub-division project to provide 273 residential lots. The development involves the bulk earthworks and the construction of:
• Retaining walls
• Public roads and footpaths
• Stormwater drainage and sanitary sewers
• Power and telecommunications reticulation
• Public reserves
• Cycleways and bridges
The development was delivered over 6 stages, with one stage completed each year.
Cuesko performed the role of Bank QS for the funders (BNZ and Capital Group), verifying the Developer’s initial project budget and reviewing the overall projects risks in terms of cost, programme, consenting and consultant engagement.
In addition, Cuesko assessed and certified the Developer’s monthly applications to the draw-down funds from their loan facility and determine an appropriate contingency budget.
