Hilton Mast Removal and Cladding Replacement

The Hiton Hotel, located at the end of Princes Wharf in downtown Auckland, comprises approximately 180 guest rooms and suits, many of which offers private balconies with harbour views.

The scope of work included the removal of the existing cladding and joinery systems, as well as the removal of the existing steel mast structure and pergola on the East and West elevations.

The remediation work was conducted on a fully operational 5-star hotel and was completed without interrupting the hotel’s ongoing operations, resulting in minimal disturbance to the occupants.

The reclad programme commenced in April and completed in early December 2025.
