Metlifecare Dannemora

Dannemora Gardens is an aged care village comprising multiple 3–4 storey blocks interconnected by suspended walkways and courtyards. The complex features swimming and exercise facilities, private parks and garden areas, as well as central bar, café, and recreation spaces.

Cuesko was appointed as part of a specialist refurbishment team to provide advice and peer review services for the re-cladding of two blocks adjacent to the pool area.

Scope of Works:

• – Peer review and advisory services for building re-cladding
• – Coordination with the refurbishment team to ensure design and construction compliance
• – Liaison with operational village management to maintain resident safety and minimize disruption

Key Challenges:

• – Discovery of unforeseen issues during the refurbishment process
• – Execution of works within an operational aged care village
• – Completing the project promptly to allow residents to return to their residences while minimizing disturbance to neighbours.
