The redevelopment of St John’s College in Hamilton was completed in early 2024.
This extensive revamp involved transforming nine existing classrooms into 15 modern teaching spaces, complemented by a deck, an outdoor court area, and a new toilet block. The redesign includes a series of striking pillars, blending function with visual appeal.
Cuesko was engaged to provide post-contract services for the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton. Our role included reviewing monthly claims and variations submitted by Mitchell Construction, as well as generating financial reports that forecast upcoming expenses and track the project’s financial health. These services help the client understand the financial aspects of the project, making sure they are managed efficiently.
This project presented several unique opportunities including:
*Careful planning to work around an active school.
*Phased completion to free up teaching space.
*Working with the school’s original construction drawings.
By maintaining our proactive communication and a flexible approach, we have been able to address challenges and keep the project aligned with the client’s objectives. Cuesko continues to provide financial services for the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton and our ability to support their small to large-scale educational facilities, allows them to make informed decisions.
